A Friends Place

A Friends Place - A social meeting place for older people to catch up and meet. Come along from Tuesday to Friday 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

A place to go to talk things over, learn new skills, swap ideas and swap some stories. A time to help friends out, whilst having some fun and enjoying good company.

Programme for 2024

Tuesday - Morning - 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m - Discussion Group - News and Views   Afternoon - 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. - Board Games - Scrabble, Rummikub etc.

Wednesday - Morning - 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. - Crafts and Hobbie Creations  Afternoon - 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. - Musicians Club. Very popular with attendees.

Thursday - Morning 10.00 a.m to 12.30 p.m. - Music Workshops - enjoyed by all  Afternoon - 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. - Music Workshops afternoon session

Friday - Morning 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. - Card Club (500) always thrilling and fun - Afternoon - 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. - Pampering, Manicures etc.

Please note: Because of other bookings some of the above days and times may have to change throughout the year.  The Waihi Beach Community Center Committee apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to A Friends Place attendees.  As a committee we do try and cater for all groups within our community and give them all time for meetings etc. within the community centre.  Thanking you in advance for your assistance with this.
